About Us Toys Express is the mail order branch of Horton & Hollender Ltd., a family business which was started in 1948 and now involves the third generation of the family.
Our principle aim is to provide a first class service to all our customers and to supply toys which are value for money and are of good quality and design.
Here at Toys Express you'll find a wide selection of toys, including traditional wooden toys, railways, dolls houses and farms. You'll also see popular children's favourites such as Thomas the Tank Engine and Bob the Builder, as well as the latest construction toys and arts and crafts.

We carry a very wide range covering all ages from birth to 99, because as we all know, adults enjoy playing with toys in the same way as children!!

Making A Purchase To make a purchase, browse the catalogue and select the items you require by clicking on ' add to basket ' for each one. When you have completed your selections, click on ' checkout ' and you will be asked for the details we need to complete and despatch your order.
We accept credit/debit card payments online from Visa, Mastercard, Access, Maestro, Switch, Solo, JCB, and Delta.
When entering your card details, if an issue number is requested and your card does not have one, please enter the number '' 0 '' If a start date is requested and your card does not have one, please use '' 01/01 ''
All our charges are made in British Pounds (£) Sterling and the total transaction amount will appear on your card suppliers statement to you as Horton & Hollender Ltd.
Shipping And Handling On orders up to £30 a charge of £4.99 and on orders over £30 a charge of £5.99 will apply for delivery within the UK mainland.
A supplement may apply for any deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly and Channel Islands. We will be happy to quote the best rates we can obtain on an individual order basis.
For a small additional charge of £3, any order received by 12noon (weekdays) will be packed the same day and delivered on a next day service. (This applies to UK mainland only) Please note: the next day service is not available on Saturdays.
For deliveries to destinations in Mainland Europe or Worldwide, we will be happy to quote a price on an individual order basis.
All products are sent by courier and so a signature is required on delivery.
Delivery Schedule OUR ORDERS ARE NORMALLY DELIVERED WITHIN 4 WORKING DAYS.
On rare occasions, if an item is out of stock there may be a delay of up to 28 days. If this were the case we would endeavour to advise you.
Back Orders If we do not have an item you require in stock, we will back order it for you and e-mail you, with the option to cancel if you prefer not to wait.
Tax Charges All our prices are in UK Pounds (£) Sterling and include Value Added Tax ( VAT) at the current rate of 17.5% for orders made from the UK or the European Union.
All other orders are VAT free.

If you are not satisfied with the goods supplied, a return will be accepted provided you contact us within a period of 10 days of receipt of your purchase.
Goods damaged in transit will be replaced.

Returns Policy Any unwanted goods must be returned to us within 21 days of purchase, in a re-saleable condition, together with their instructions, any labels and in their original packaging.
If any of the goods are faulty we will either refund the cost amount in full or send you a replacement free of charge, provided you contact us within 10 days of receipt.

Please note that we are only able to refund postage where goods are faulty.
